Terms of Use

Hobbies+ is a mobile application operated by Hobbies+ (Cyprus). References to “we”, “us”, or “Hobbies+” mean this entity. Contact us at support@hobbies.plus.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use Hobbies+. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

If you are between 16 and 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information when you register and keeping it up to date.
• Keeping your account secure. Do not share your OTP codes with anyone.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice in serious cases.

You agree not to use Hobbies+ to:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Post or share content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on anyone’s rights.
• Create fake accounts, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity.
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages or friend requests.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or interact with the platform.
• Interfere with or disrupt the app, its servers, or its infrastructure.
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation without our prior written consent.

We may remove content or accounts that violate these rules at our discretion.

You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content you grant Hobbies+ a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it as follows:

• Activity descriptions and public profile information - licence to store, display, and transmit within the app for the purpose of helping other users discover and join activities.
• Private messages (group chats and direct messages) - licence only to store and transmit to the intended recipients. Private messages are not displayed outside the conversation and are not used for any other purpose.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We do not pre-screen content but reserve the right to remove anything that violates these terms or applicable law.

Hobbies+ facilitates connections between people for real-world activities. We are not responsible for what happens during or after those in-person meetups. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others.

We strongly encourage you to meet in public places, inform someone of your plans, and exercise normal personal safety precautions when meeting people for the first time.

All rights in the Hobbies+ app, brand, design, and underlying technology belong to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written consent.

Hobbies+ is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hobbies+ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages - including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill - arising from your use of the app or participation in any in-person activity arranged through it.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app will not exceed the greater of €50 or the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the app after changes takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Limassol, Cyprus, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
